About Me
​
I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Bentley University.
My research broadly focuses on Financial Accounting, Machine Learning, and Big Data, with a particular interest in analyzing unstructured textual data and big data on corporate insolvency and restructuring. I teach Financial Accounting at Bentley University.
Before my Ph.D. study, I worked at the IMF in Washington D.C. for three years. I developed valuable experience through many fascinating policy-related tasks that influenced my current research agenda. I am dedicated to helping students succeed academically and professionally through my instruction.

Going forward, I endeavor to study financial accounting issues and analyze their economic implications via cutting-edge AI algorithms that employ both structured and unstructured data.

I hold a B.A. from New York University, as well as an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Toronto.
​
I am a classically trained pianist without a perfect pitch. I've performed at Disney World in Florida, the Thanksgiving Parade in New York, and the Cherry Blossom Festival in DC.
